Education Program Description

ESTABLISHED LOCAL AND STATE CHEMISTRY
AND SCIENCE TEACHER GROUPS AND ALLIANCES ACROSS THE NATION

This site was developed to provide a means of networking, resource sharing and professional development for high school chemistry teachers in the extended California State University, Northridge area.  Once established, it became clear that  teachers from a variety of locations were accessing our site and wishing to participate.  To this end we will continue serving our local teachers (CTS) through regular meetings and workshop offerings, but broaden our online participation to welcome all high school chemistry teachers everywhere.  

It is our hope that chemistry teacher support groups formed through partnerships between high schools, junior colleges and universities in adjacent geographic areas will follow our model and establish cooperative programs of support and collaboration.
