We welcome all High School Chemistry Teachers to join the CSUN HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY TEACHER SUPPORT GROUP LISTSERV referred to as the HS Chem Group. This Listserv is intended for the purpose of educational networking, collaboration and teacher-led professional staff development and is not available for commercial use. We do invite all teachers to access our website and utilize the resources and links that have been collaboratively gathered and posted at http://www.hschem.org .
You must register to post questions as this is a private, screened "subscriber" verified membership list only. To subscribe, scroll down to the bottom of this page and fill in ALL information on the automatic posting form below and check "High School Chemistry Listserv." If incomplete, you will be contacted to provide the same information as requested below to verify your eligibility or will not be approved for membership.
Once subscribed, members can email their posts to HSChem@googlegroups.com . We appreciate members following the simple guidelines of identifying their posts by placing [HSChem] in the subject line followed by a short description of the posting topic. This will facilitate sorting for those members who receive large numbers of emails per day. Posts will be immediately circulated to all other subscribing members of the listserv once you are registered.
This service has been operational since January 20, 2002 and is available in a variety of posting forms, individual emails or "digest mode" as well as simple announcements have been posted to the listserv website located at: http://groups.google.com/group/HSChem
The Listserv Manager will contact all subscribers to verify email addresses, eligibility and to post procedures to unsubscribe from the listserv as well as to activate individual or digest mode posting preferences. If you have further questions or wish to unsubscribe, simply contact the listserv manager at firstname.lastname@example.org .
If you wish to receive notices of the local California State University, Northridge Chemistry Teacher Support Group meetings, special presentations, workshops, course offerings, or staff development opportunities, simply fill in the information below and check "Local CTS Group." We meet approximately four times per year at adjacent high school campuses and colleges.
