TEACHER FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION INFORMATION
****$1800 Research Fellowships****Application Form*****
The response has been phenomenal. If interested in being awarded
a prestigious $1800 Eisenhower Research Fellowship, please rush the application
below back to me by return email (steven.oppenheimer@csun.edu)
Even if you already responded by an abbreviated application, we require this
complete application for our records.
To get your $1800 stipend you must:
Complete 120 hours of research and classroom implementation planning
Submit a research/classroom implementation report signed by
your mentor
(hard copy and Web Posting)
Try to submit an abstract for publication in the Journal of Student Research Abstracts, co-authored by your students (deadline, Feb. 1 of each year). This is a prestigious accomplishment for you and your students and principals often love you for it. The research for this abstract can be done in one class period as a joint experiment, with all of your participating students as co-authors. These group abstracts are often the best.
If you do well in this program, continuous $1800 fellowships may be possible.
All research scheduling is made by mutual agreement by you
and your research mentor.
